AVP Performance Reporting Manager - Credit

Base Salary: $160000

This position requires strong finance and reporting experience, knowledge of the alternative investment industry, sound organizational and analytical skills as well as ability to build rapport with various constituents throughout the firm, service providers and Fund investors.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish a Performance Center of Excellence for Global Credit to create a centralized, consistent and focused approach to performance reporting
  • Develop a credit specific performance reporting framework, including:
    • Identification of credit specific performance metrics to include in reporting
    • Establish standardized processes and calculation methodologies
    • Collaborate with compliance, investor relations to establish marketing presentation guidelines
  • Lead initiative to establish policy and process for Liquid Credit business to be GIPS compliant and coordinate annual GIPS verification
  • Responsible for the ongoing delivery of performance reporting and analytics, including:
    • Monthly liquid loan & Quarterly private loan track record review and analysis
    • Quarterly IRR, MOICs and other performance metrics for drawdown funds
    • Benchmark returns across fund segments to comparable indexes
    • Recurring & ad-hoc management reporting
  • Partner with IT to design and build out a database and internal proprietary calculation engine to support performance metrics to be included in both SEC reporting (S-1, 10Q, 10Ks) and non-public reporting (i.e. fundraising materials, conference materials, analyst presentations, etc)
  • Partner with IT to develop reporting capabilities and tools, including self-service across a range of business functions (e.g. Fund Management, Deal Teams, Investor Relations, etc.)
  • Support other, firm-wide initiatives particularly around data management and reporting

 

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting required
  • CFA Preferred
  • 7-10 years in a finance/performance reporting position
  • Experience in performance reporting in private credit industry
  • Knowledge of GIPS
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
