Director - Head of Consulting Americas - Strategy
Business Overview:
The Change & Solutions Americas organization works closely with executive management and senior leadership to design and implement high-level, strategically important projects, and shape the development of the Bank in the region (US, Canada, and Latin America). The team delivers value across the CIB Americas platforms through an integrated approach with deep international interconnectivity across departments, and a strong focus on servicing internal clients.
Change & Solutions Americas delivers change-the-bank initiatives including strategic planning, business development, operating model transformation, process reengineering, and advanced analytics (i.e., Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning). These initiatives cover the full change management value chain, from strategy to implementation.

Your work will play a significant role in influencing the future of the Bank.
The team is highly collaborative internally and with clients across the Bank. Engagements can span multiple business lines, functions, and/or regions within various entities enabling employees to build a strong network upon which to build their career.
More specifically, the Consulting team focuses on strategy definition, business development initiatives, as well as framing and problem solving on complex transversal challenges. Typical project sponsors include the CIB Americas CEO, COO, CHRO and other Executive Committee members. As Director in the team, you will play a critical role in:
- The framing and delivery of complex initiatives supporting the Bank’s strategy
- The overall management and development of the team
- The development of the C&S network of key stakeholders across the Bank
You will report directly to the Head of Change and Solutions and be part of the C&S Management team.

Responsibilities:
Project management and thought leadership
- Bring financial services and business strategy (e.g., market entry/analysis, multi-year strategic planning) content expertise
- Leverage expertise to enhance Change & Solutions problem solving capabilities and offerings
- Stimulate creative problem solving for clients and project teams
- Lead proposals to acquire new projects
- Maintain familiarity with financial services sector best practices and trends via desk research, ongoing training, etc.
Client leadership
- Develop advisory relationships with Executive management and their management teams across Americas region
- Oversee successful project scoping, staffing, and delivery across a portfolio of projects in alignment with emerging client needs
- Effectively influence Executive client involvement and decision making on projects
- Lead and manage presentations for Executive management
Team leadership
- Manage and motivate teams of Vice Presidents, Assistant Vice Presidents, and Analysts
- Maintain strong personal mentorship and guidance relationships with senior and junior team members from diverse backgrounds (during, and outside of, project delivery)
Qualifications
Minimum required qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience with a top-tier management consulting firm or a relevant internal consulting / corporate strategy team, with active leadership experience
- Experience in and / or significant exposure to the financial services industry
- Experience leading strategic change and serving as trusted business advisor to Executive clients

Preferred qualifications:
Education and Work:
- MBA or an advanced degree from a top-tier program preferred
- Demonstrated ability to take on leadership roles on critical projects while providing highest quality results to senior clients
- Proven record of working with and presenting to Executive management and their management teams
- Foreign language fluency preferred
- International experience preferred
